Аннотация
Согласно результатам международных пострегистрационных исследований, левофлоксацин относится к числу наиболее востребованных антимикробных препаратов. Одним из основных показаний для назначения этого антибиотика является внебольничная пневмония. В настоящем обзоре, посвящённом 20летию появления левофлоксацина на фармацевтическом рынке, представлены данные, характеризующие его терапевтическую эффективность при данном заболевании, обсуждаются фармакодинамические и фармакокинетические особенности, а также вопросы безопасности его применения. Несмотря на многолетнюю историю широкого использования, левофлоксацин остаётся одним из наиболее успешных антибиотиков, применяемых для лечения больных внебольничной пневмонией, что находит отражение в современных международных рекомендациях, также представленных в предлагаемом обзоре.
