Аннотация
Инфекции, вызванные антибиотикорезистентной микрофлорой, представляют собой постоянно растущую угрозу как в стационарах, так и во внебольничных условиях. Нозокомиальные инфекции приводят к снижению эффективности проводимой терапии, увеличению длительности госпитализации и росту летальности. Хлоргексидина биглюконат является катионным бисгуанидином, разработанным в Великобритании в 1950 году. Он является первым международно признанным антисептиком для кожи и ран. Одним из преимуществ хлоргексидина, помимо выраженного антимикробного действия, является его способность связываться с различными биологическими субстратами при сохранении его антибактериальной активности, а затем медленно высвобождаться, что приводит к сохранению эффективных концентраций препарата. На сегодняшний день отсутствуют сообщения о наличии резистентности к хлоргексидину, несмотря на более чем 60-летний период активного применения препарата в клинике. Хлоргексидина глюконат сохраняет свою значимость в профилактике внутрибольничных инфекций.
