Аннотация
В настоящее время ванкомицин во многих случаях является препаратом выбора для терапии тяжелых инфекций, вызванных грамположительными кокками. Более того, он часто бывает единственным эффективным препаратом в отношении множественно-устойчивых штаммов бактерий. В связи с этим важна идентификация редко встречающихся в клинической практике микроорганизмов, обладающих природной устойчивостью к ванкомицину, в частности бактерий рода Leuconostoc. Это позволит не только назначить адекватную антимикробную терапию, но и поможет избежать ошибочных заявлений о выделении ванкомицинорезистентных штаммов стрептококков, пневмококков и энтерококков. В статье представлены схемы идентификации представителей рода Leuconostoc и описание клинического случая бактериемии, вызванного данным микроорганизмом.
