Аннотация
В данном обзоре представлена характеристика представителей рода Weissella, в частности, W. confusa, W. cibaria и W. viridescens. Рассмотрены морфологические, культуральные, биохимические свойства данных микроорганизмов, входящих в род Weissella. Описаны особенности микроэкологии, сложности идентификации данных микроорганизмов в клинической практике. Рассмотрены клинические случаи, вызванные инфицированием представителями рода Weissella, особенности проявления и течения заболеваний, обусловленные данными возбудителями. Установлено, что микроорганизмы, относящиеся к роду Weissella, представляют опасность для иммунокомпрометированных пациентов, страдающих хроническими заболеваниями, перенесших трансплантацию гемопоэтических стволовых клеток, печени и кожных лоскутов, а также пожилых пациентов. Установлено, что представители рода Weissella обладают устойчивостью к антибиотикам, таким как ванкомицин, цефотаксим, левофлоксацин, метронидазол, тейкопланин, имипенем и меропенем.
