Аннотация
Представлен обзор современного состояния проблемы венерической лимфогранулёмы (ВЛ) в западном мире. Венерическая лимфогранулёма — инфекция, передаваемая половым путём, возбудителем которой является Chlamydia trachomatis сероваров L1, L2 и L3. Эта инфекция приобрела актуальность в последние несколько лет из-за многочисленных вспышек в Европе и США. Их особенностью служил тот факт, что большинство случаев инфицирования было вызвано сероваром L2. Кроме того, заболевание было распространено в основном среди гомосексуалистов и в большинстве случаев имело клиническую симптоматику проктита. Последние случаи инфицирования регистрируются преимущественно у ВИЧ-положительных пациентов. Для диагностики ВЛ применяется полимеразная цепная реакция, позволяющая дифференцировать штаммы, вызывающие ВЛ, от других штаммов Chlamydia trachomatis. Препаратом выбора при лечении является доксициклин, применяемый в течение 21 дня. Для снижения уровня распространения ВЛ требуется знание как эпидемиологических особенностей распространения заболевания, так и понимание генетических и микробиологических характеристик возбудителя этой инфекции.
