Аннотация
Клиническое значение нокардиоподобных бактерий, выделенных в самостоятельный род Rhodococcus, в качестве возбудителей инфекционных заболеваний у человека недостаточно изучено и определено. В литературе описано немногим более 100 случаев заболеваний у человека, вызванных представителями рода Rhodococcus (абсцессы лёгких, эндофтальмиты, бактериемии и др.). Особенностью заболевших было фоновое наличие иммунодефицитного состояния (чаще ВИЧ-инфекция). В статье описан клинический случай тяжёлого пансинусита и флегмоны орбиты, вызванных Rhodococcus equi. Также приведён обзор данных по клиническому значению данного микроорганизма, особенностям идентификации и возможностям антибактериальной терапии.
