Аннотация

Тяжёлый острый респираторный синдром (ТОРС) - новое инфекционное заболевание, впервые возникшее в ноябре 2002 года в Южном Китае и распространившееся на территории 29 государств Европы, Азии, Северной и Южной Америки, Африки и Австралии. Официально сообщается о 8422 заболевших и более чем 900 умерших от ТОРС. Авторы настоящей статьи попытались обобщить имеющиеся данные по истории эпидемии, этиологии, эпидемиологии, вариантам клинической картины ТОРС, а также существующим стандартам терапии этого заболевания.
