Abstract
Recent emergence and spread of carbapenemase-producing Gram-negative bacteria that hydrolyze most β-lactams, including carbapenems, are a major concern for antimicrobial therapy worldwide, including Russia. This paper presents a comparative review of the currently available methods for carbapenemases detection.
