Abstract

During the last 7 years the leading pathogens in the etiology of skin and soft tissue infections in the hospital were Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas аeruginosа. Statistical prognosis does not suggest significant changes in the etiology of this group of infections during the next 3 years. According to the results of microbiological monitoring the most potent antimicrobial regimen is a combination of carbapenems with glycopeptides, and among possible monotherapy variants- moxifloxacin.
