Abstract
Currently used approaches to antimicrobial prophylaxis (AMP) in abdominal surgery based on the results of multicenter retrospective study of AMP in abdominal surgery in Russian hospitals are analyzed in this paper. Antimicrobial prophylaxis regimens that should be a standard in abdominal surgery are presented. For surgeons, intensive care specialists, clinical pharmacologists, hospital epidemiologists.
