Genomic characterization of oxacillin-susceptible mecA-positive Staphylococcus aureus ST59

Objective. To characterize the genomes of oxacillin-susceptible mecA-positive Staphylococcus aureus ST59 isolated in St. Petersburg. Materials and Methods. Nine oxacillin-susceptible mecA-positive of S. aureus isolates (OS-MRSA) of ST59 were included in the study.
