Abstract

Laboratory diagnostics are performed for variety of biological materials and are pursuing a purpose of objective evaluation of variable biological objects. Therefore the selection and provision of stabile, verified conditions for obtaining analytically, biologically and clinically reliable information is the obligate necessity in all disciplines of modern laboratory medicine. The situation in clinical microbiology is especially complicated by the high variability of microorganisms and by their sensitivity to minimal changes of assays performance conditions. As the measures against the influences of variation factors deflecting results of microbiological studies we need to use e number of standard procedures in laboratory diagnostics. In connection with that in the paper we listed normative documents that are present at the moment. The necessity of standardized technologies development and of referent system activities in the field of clinical microbiology ordering are noted.
