Abstract

Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is a new highly contagious disease, which first appeared in Guandong province on the south of continental China and spread through 29 countries of Europe, Asia, North and South America, Africa and Australia. Pandemic was stopped at the cost of extraordinary effort of world community but five months later new cases of SARS with no data about the source of infection appeared. This article contains recent update on SARS.
