Abstract
Short review of antibacterial resistance in Neisseria gonorrhoeae in different parts of the world including Russia is given. In this paper antimicrobial susceptibility testing of gonococci by agar dilution and disk diffusion methods as well as determination of β-lactamase production are presented. For clinical microbiologists, STD specialists, obstetricians and gynecologists.
